Service Description
This course is designed for students who already have hairdressing experience. Day 1 – Full Day (Starting at 9:00 AM, Flexible Finish Time) We begin with a relaxed drink and a chat to outline the day and get to know each other better. This course moves entirely at your own pace, with no rush, allowing you to feel fully comfortable throughout your training. The day starts with full theory training, covering everything you need to know about hair extensions. After theory, we move onto practical preparation, including blending and cutting techniques to ensure a seamless blend between the client’s natural hair and the extensions. We will also cover common troubleshooting methods. Practical Training: We start with Nano Rings. I will demonstrate the method for you, then you will practice under supervision. Once confident, you’ll continue practicing independently. You will be assessed informally during this session without pressure. We then take a short break with drinks and snacks before continuing. Next, you will learn the first Weft Method, covering application, removal, and maintenance. Lunch Break: Prior to your training, we will confirm any dietary requirements. Lunch is provided by a local graze company, offering either a graze table or individual graze boxes. After lunch, we continue with training, covering the second Weft Method and Tape Extensions, including application, removal, and maintenance for both methods. Throughout the session, once confident, you’ll continue practicing independently. You will be assessed informally during this time. To finish, we will sit for a relaxed chat about launching your new career in hair extensions, covering business start-up advice, insurance, pricing, and marketing tips. Finally, you will be awarded your Certificate of Achievement and take photos to celebrate your success. FULL STARTER KIT PROVIDED WITH ALL COURSES
Cancellation Policy
At Mia Mac Hairdressing & Training Academy, we understand that sometimes plans change. We offer refunds on course bookings if cancellation is made within 72 hours prior to the scheduled course date. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email during the 72-hour window. After the 72-hour window has passed, course fees become non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, last-minute cancellations, or failure to attend the course. Due to the nature of training services, no refunds will be provided once a course has been attended or completed, regardless of the outcome. In exceptional circumstances, course transfers or credits toward future training may be considered at our discretion. By booking a course with Mia Mac Hairdressing & Training Academy, you agree to these terms.
